Northwest Nazarene University (NNU), a comprehensive Christian university with a rich liberal arts tradition, is located in Nampa, Idaho. The university's location in the southwest part of the state allows easy access to local ski resorts, mountain hiking, and river rafting. School of Business
NNU's School of Business offers two undergraduate majors leading to the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, and the MBA degree. There are approximately 300 undergraduate and graduate students and fourteen full-time professors. The School of Business enjoys Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) accreditation.
Description of Position
The School of Business at Northwest Nazarene University is seeking applications for a position in Marketing and/or Management to begin in the fall, 2008. Assignments may include teaching daytime, evening, and online courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as additional faculty responsibilities.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have a Ph.D., DBA or be ABD in a regionally accredited program or certification in the Marketing and/or Management field. All levels of rank will be considered. The successful candidate should have a record of scholarship or a willingness to begin engaging in scholarly activity. The University requires that all candidates be a Christian (preferably in the Wesleyan tradition), and must be comfortable and in agreement with the mission and lifestyle values of NNU. Compensation
The salary will be determined by the educational background and experience of each applicant. Full-time faculty will be offered a benefits package including health insurance for faculty and family, vision and dental for employee, life and disability insurance, opportunities for faculty development, sabbatical experiences, and a retirement program.
