Campus Ministries

Have you ever mixed cement with a shovel in a foreign country? Do you feel called to guide the guys or girls in your dorm in their Christian walk? How about putting those years of high school Spanish toward tutoring children? There are a variety of avenues to use your gifts to serve here at NNU!

Opportunities are announced through chapel messages, campus posters, and campus-wide email. Keep updated on the latest service opportunities.

Perhaps you have a passion for a type of ministry that we do not offer. If that is the case we would love to hear about it and work with you. Start a puppet ministry. Volunteer to sweep neighborhood porches. Let’s get involved!

NNU offers a wide variety of campus ministries which bond students together and stimulate corporate and individual spiritual growth:

Small Group Discipleship

Each freshman entering NNU student is connected with a Bible Study group when they arrive.  Upperclassmen have many opportunities to meet in accountability groups, prayer teams, and biblical discussions.  For more information on small group discipleship contact Michael T. Spengler.

Ministry Clubs

Get involved and serve your campus and community through NNU ministry clubs:

Angels
FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
Hope House
PALS
Social Work Club
Society for a Change
THIRST (The Heart In Real Simple Truth)

For more information contact Amy Carroll, SGA Campus Ministries Coordinator

Worship Team

If you sing or play an instrument you have the opportunity to audtion for a student praise team. These teams participate regularly in chapel and the mid-week student service on Wednesday night.  Contact Chaplain Gene for more information.

NNU student, Kenton said, "These past two years on the spring break mission trips God has changed my life om ways I cannot explain. Through these trips I have seen God change my mindset, faith, and life calling as we have ministered to those in New York and Seattle."
