STEP Online Program. The STEP Online program is an opportunity to receive an undergraduate degree by taking online courses. This accelerated delivery degree program is designed specifically for adults age 23 and above. STEP Online program will enrich your experience and knowledge to meet career goals. The flexibility of an online educational environment provides individuals an opportunity to maintain a balance between school, work, and personal life.
STEP offers general education courses online to assist students with as few as zero credits to accumulate enough credits to join a cohort.
The undergraduate business degree program requires 16 months of intensive work. Students take up to six courses each semester; two classes simultaneously. Most courses last five weeks. In addition, the program format follows a cohort model. This model allows students to proceed through the program with the same group of people gleaning a wealth of knowledge from the expertise and experience of their colleagues as well as the professors.
Online Students. Research associated with adult learning reveals that some students excel at online learning while others do better in a face-to-face learning environment. Successful online students are characteristically independent, are able to learn from reading and from online communication, are self-motivated, and are comfortable with the technology.
Computer Requirements. Students enrolling in an NNU online graduate program must have access to a robust computer and communication system which will allow them to access course materials and communicate with professors and fellow students.
