Welcome to Northwest Nazarene University's Office of Church Relations' web page. As a Christian university, we understand that NNU would not exist without the trust and support of pastors and church congregations. It is our desire to partner with churches to provide a quality, spiritually-based education for our students.
But beyond that, we believe that part of our responsibility is to use the resources of the university to provide services to the church and pastor as well. We call it the "church-grant" concept. Just as land-grant colleges in the United States have historically served the people of the state, Northwest Nazarene University desires to serve and enrich our regional churches by providing avenues of learning, growth, and spiritual renewal. The Office of Church Relations, and Church Resource Services does this by providing workshops, seminars, retreats, continuing education, and special events.
